The Champagne Drappier Carte d’Or Brut Non Vintage expresses all the aromas of the noble grape variety Pinot Noir; which constitutes at least 80% of the blend. A red grape producing white juice, it is sought after not only for its structure but also for its very characteristic fine notes of red fruits. The Carte d’Or cuvée is the very expression of the Drappier style. With its very high proportion of Pinot Noir, it is almost akin to tasting a Blanc de Noirs. This Champagne has a fine aromatic richness, opening with aromas of stoned fruits such as white peach. A spicy hint announces a powerful and complex palate. A vinous Champagne of lovely complexity with a characteristic note of quince jelly. Perfect as an aperitif it is also a great match with white meats or rolled fish fillets.
